This year’s event features journalist and author Sophia A. Nelson, as she discusses her nationally acclaimed best -selling book, Black Woman Redefined: Dispelling Myths and Discovering Fulfillment in the Age of Michelle Obama, about stereotypes of African American women and how they are viewed, portrayed, and treated in America.
